Broiler disease manifestation and prevention

There are two main types of common diseases in broilers. One is non-communicable diseases, including dyspepsia, vitamin deficiency, selenium deficiency, etc.; the other is infectious diseases, including colibacillosis, salmonellosis, aspergillosis fumigatus, staphylococcal disease, and infectious bursal disease , Chicken Newcastle disease, chicken infectious bronchitis, chicken coccidiosis, bird flu, etc.

Non-communicable diseases are mostly caused by improper feeding and management, such as improper feed mix, improper temperature, uncomfortable air and other reasons. By strengthening feeding management, adjusting the nutritional formula of feed, and strengthening technical training for breeders, the occurrence of non-communicable diseases can be effectively controlled.

The prevalence of broiler infectious diseases is a complex contradictory process, which is caused by the interrelation of the source of infection, the route of transmission and the three links of susceptible chickens. Therefore, by formulating reasonable immunization procedures, drug administration procedures and disinfection procedures and other epidemic prevention measures, the three links that cause the epidemic can be eliminated or cut off, so that the epidemic will not occur or continue to spread. These measures should include comprehensive epidemic prevention measures with the four basic contents of "nurture, prevention, inspection, and treatment". Comprehensive epidemic prevention measures can be divided into two aspects: usual preventive measures and extermination measures when an epidemic occurs.
